We are Growing...
We continue to grow , and are pleased to meet all of those who come to visit and share in the celebration of the mass. We are planning to move into a larger space to better accomodate our community and visitors. We hope you will choose to join us some Sunday. This may be the spiritual home you are looking for.
Do This is Memory of Me
We hear those words every time we gather at mass to celebrate the memory of Jesus. Remembering is not confined only to bread and wine. Imagine if each time Jesus healed, or comforted, of restored someone to community he said, "Do this in memory of me." We remember because we re-enact, and that means more that sharing bread and wine. It means re-enacting the words, the actions, and the life of Jesus.
There are many ways to remember and act. We will include ideas for you on the website. The key is to get involved, not to stand back and say "what can I do...I am just one person." Jesus, too, was one person. Look at the profound influence that his life and action has had for thousands of years.
Do you know someone who needs financial help? Do you think they would be too embarassed to accept a gift from you and from others? Consider giving it this way:

You might be raptured while at the wheel
In Seattle's Most Dangerous Sunday School, we are learning about dispensational thinking and its consequences. May people talk about end times, the coming rapture of believers, and the destruction that will be delivered to the earth. We are learning that this thinking takes as its scriptural basis a small portion of the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation. We are reading Barbara Rossing's, The Rapture Exposed, as we explore other ways of reading and interpretation of Revelation. Interested? Come and join in the discussion. Seattle's Most Dangerous Sunday School. We meet each Sunday at 8:30 AM. There is plenty of hot, fresh coffee!
